Choral groups start:

First Saturday September 14th Total classes per semester 18; 4,5 months.

First Monday September 16th. Total classes per semester 18; 4,5 months.

First Tuesday September 17h Total classes per semester 18; 4,5 months.

First Wednesday September 18th Total classes per semester 17; with extra Sunday rehearsals.

First Friday September 20th Total classes per semester 18; 4,5 months.

Tuition 2024-2025

Two semesters: September 5th-January 31st, and February 1st-June 17th.

Fifty minutes class once per week $98 per month

One hour class once per week $114 per month

(choir, solfege, non-pitched instruments orchestra, movement, and musical literature once a month with Eva Dominiak)

Opera kids class (1 hour 15 min) $80 for children who sing in the choir groups, and $140 for children selected by audition,

and who are not singing in the studio choirs. There is $30 costume fee.

Two-hour class once per week plus extra rehearsals as needed (concert choir only) $136 per month

(choir, solfège, music theory and musical literature with Eva Dominiak)

 

 

 

 

Registration fee per family includes: materials, new music books/songs, non-pitched instruments,

office supplies, acoustic piano tuning twice a year, concert hall rent for concerts and rehearsals, and accompanist's fee.

$85 per year.

 

GROUP CLASSES DISCOUNTS:

Discount for a second child in a studio is 15% off if both are in the choirs. 

Discount for families with 3 and more children 15%.

If a child takes choir and piano or voice lessons the choral fee is $85 and second fee is reduced to $40 (only concert hall rent portion)

If a child takes choir and piano lessons twice a week the choral fee is $85 and second fee is waived.

 

Studio will be closed:

2024-2025 academic year

November 20-24 for choral groups, 21-24 for individual lessons, Thanksgiving.

December 22th - January 1nd, Winter break.

April 14th-20th, Spring break. 

May 24-26th, Memorial weekend.

Audition

An interview with the choral director and an audition is needed to insure the right placement in the group as well as evaluation of the existing skills and musical knowledge. The child will be asked to sing a song of his or her choice (or an excerpt), or offered to sing a well-known song such as Happy Birthday or America the Beautiful. The vocal assessment will continue with fun and age-appropriate vocal warm-ups and rhythmic exercises.

 

Individual voice lessons are recommended for children who has some choral singing experience or 8 years old and up.

Childrens' voices develop as they mature and choice of repertoire will be based on children's ability to sing with correct intonation, their vocal range, and overall singing technique. Repertoire will be selected from folk songs, classical and contemporary compositions, and songs from musicals and movies.

 

Piano lessons are recommended for children 6 years old and up. No previous experience is required. Each student will have a customized lesson plan and program that will support his existing skills and abilities and stimulate further development of a young pianist.

Discount is given to children from the choir to study voice ($5 off).
